Hi, I'm Mateusz, Senior Gameplay Programmer at Moon Studios, currently working on No Rest for the Wicked. Previously shipped 5+ titles across PC and Console, specializing in Gameplay Architecture and Performance.
I built the Wanderbyte blog to document my personal research into architectural and production problems of triple-A game development.
This site is a collection of case studies, audits, and architectural deep-dives into the performance bottlenecks that plagued various productions.
Currently working on
No Rest For the Wicked is a multiplayer action RPG game I've been participating in since 2022 as a Gameplay Tech team member.
I joined the project at the early stage of development (the post-prototype phase) - during the time I managed to rework most of the core gameplay systems - balance, itemization, combat, etc.
Now we focus on releasing multiplayer and so I am engaged in meeting the performance requirements of the product.
